Well Jon and I had that exact same thought tonight, when our neighbors made a big pile of brush in their backyard, proceeded to dump gasoline all over everything, and then light it on fire. The dad of the family did this with the assistance of his young kids (maybe 7 & 10). Then after the big poof explosion that was not enough....then they started throwing their dried leaves on the fire. The fire was so hot that the leaves would just fly up in the air.....on fire no less! This large fire was no more than 10 feet away from the neighbors garage behind them. Seriously, someone was not thinking straight here!
Needless to say we called them in because of all the sparks & debris flying in the air. Check out these photos I took!
This whole fire thing would not be so bad, however, they do not have any type of a fire pit in their backyard. They just create a pile wherever and start it on fire. Also, everything outside is so dry right now, there has not been hardly any rain. So many things could have started on fire. The other thing is that the house is a rental....they are renting! It's not even their yard! Some people!
