Fun weekend with family

This weekend we were down in Waseca for a party for Janelle & Benjamin, since they were in from Seattle for a week. Brad always enjoys when he can play with his cousins Emma & Adrian.

Happy Fathers Day

Brad is such a daddy's boy and was so excited for Jon to come to daycare for snack time to celebrate Father's Day. It's hard to see, but he even made a shirt that says "daddy's boy" on the front.

Farmer's market

This weekend my parents were in town... so Saturday morning we decided to head down to the Minneapolis Farmer's market. So much to see, smell, taste, and buy.

The in the afternoon we went for a bike ride around the Lake of the Isles.

Nashville

This week I was Nashville bound for the IASA (Insurance Accounting & Systems Assoc) national conference. I know, I know... insurance how exciting, right? Well it turned out to be one of the best conferences I went to. In addition to the wealth of insurance knowledge that was pushed my way, I was able to take in some excellent country music acts throughout those 3 days. Oh and did I mention that 2 of my closest friends also went with to the conference. We had fun!!

Then it was off to the Grand Ole Opry...

To hear some more great music by Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Bill Anderson, and the Oak Ridge Boys.

I think we all had "Elvira" in our head for days.

Needless to say it was a good work trip.
