This weekend we traveled over to Wisconsin to spend the weekend at the Sommer lake home with come of my high school girl friends and their families. We always have so much fun when we get together and now that the kids are getting a little older they play together more versus having to have mom/dad with the constant watchful eye. The most fun I think is once the kids go to bed... what started out to be a quiet evening of chatting and cards, turned in to a ton of laughs and a lack of adult beverages the next morning. :) I love these girls and their families and am so glad that we have all stayed in close touch over the years and distance.
What else is there to do on a long car ride except...
Brad and Lily "catching fish" aka playing with minnows in a bucket
The Salm family
Rach & Holly taking a little spin on the jet ski
Great day on the lake!
Silly dog kept swimming and swimming. She even chased a few ducks away. She was so tired but wanted to be part of the action, so we let her up on the raft. Spoiled dog!
Happy end of summer!

Swimming Lessons
This summer Jon and Brad took a parent & child swim class. The first week didn't start so great as Brad was not too fond of the water. I think the water was a little cold because he LOVES taking baths at home so we figured swimming lessons would be right up his alley. However, as each week went by he became more and more tolerant of the water and seemed to have fun. Here are some pictures and a videos I took (pictures at the top are the most recent... the 1st class pictures are at the bottom)

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Peterson
Congratulations to Andrew and Liz who became Mr. & Mrs. this weekend!

We had a weekend full of fun. Jon was honored to be an usher and looked quite handsome in his tux. We had fun with all our friends both Friday at the rehearsal and Saturday at the wedding.

Andrew's parents hosted the actual wedding ceremony in there back yard, which turned out to be one of the most beautiful weddings due to the landscape! Their backyard is amazing.

16 weeks!
Oh Guess What?!?
Weblet #2 is on the way....
Here are a few pictures we have so far of our bambino:
The first one was on June 21st to date the pregnancy... we were already 9 weeks 2 days!!
The second was at my 12 week appointment since my uterus is tipped backwards they could not hear the heartbeat... quick rush into the ultrasound room to find baby just chilling.

Okay ~ I have heard this from other moms, but they say that with #2 you tend to forget to capture all the "moments" of pregnancy. I didn't think it would, but I have to say that it has happened to me too. This is my first belly picture at 16 weeks. Check out a little comparison to when I was 16 weeks with Brad. Not much difference.

Mommy & Daddy's Solo Weekend
On Friday August 5th Jon and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. I am so glad to have found such a wonderful and amazing man to share my life with. He is the best. To celebrate our milestone, grandma and grandpa Weber were nice enough to watch Brad for the weekend so we could spend some good quality time together. Saturday morning we pampered ourselves with a couples massage, had a lunch date, made a quick stop at a birthday party, and then attended a wedding Saturday night. Then Sunday we were able to "sleep in" until 7:30, visited a new baby, and had another lunch date.
Here are some pictures from the weekend:
Friday afternoon lunch with the gals to celebrate Kris' birthday.
Callen's first birthday party.
Congratulations to Chris & Alena Tardiff on becoming Mr. & Mrs.
Everyone really liked Jon's homemade hot dilly beans...
There was some random owling & planking going on...
Did I mention that after the rain went through it was super hot and humid...
Duff decided to shed a few layers..
Welcome to the world Mr. Landon Jaycox.
