County Fair & DaveStock

This weekend we were in Waseca for both the county fair and one of our favorite family festivals, DaveStock. Saturday at the fair was the strong man competition, where they were pulling semi's, carrying full kegs, rolling tires, and lifting huge dumb bells. It was pretty crazy to watch! While at the fair we had to check out the animals... Brad liked to point out what they were, but was not too sure of the petting or touching part. He wanted to stay in his wagon and just observe.

Of course his favorite were the tractors!

It was one of those ridiculously hot days, so in addition to the variety of yummy fair foods, we consumed many frozen drinks & lemonades. Brad was diggin' the mini donuts, just like his daddy.

That afternoon the fun continued at DaveStock. There were a ton a friends, family, and kids in attendance.
I didn't see it, but Jon said Brad hit his 1st double while playing baseball with the kids. Listening to the music.

The dad's of Joey, James, and Collin playing their set.

Jen & Jeremy

Then the evening crew. There was singing and dancing going on until the wee hours of the morning. Good times!

Welcome Isabelle Ann

I am so happy for my cousin Kelly and her husband Jake on the new addition to their family. Isabelle Ann arrived on July 5th at 8:30 am.

We were so lucky to meet this beautiful little girl this weekend while in Appleton.

Farmers Market and Trip to Grandpa's

While in Appleton this weekend we spent part of Saturday morning walking College Avenue doing some people watching and buying some yummy produce (in addition to a few other treats). One of the interesting items that I have seen before, but never tried was chocolate covered bacon. There's a first time for everything.

In addition to that we had some of the best cheese curds that I have had in the longest time. We almost ate the whole bag!

After the farmer's market we stopped out to my grandpa's house to say hello.

(4 generations)Then that evening after dinner we took a walk to the DQ,

where Brad attempted to eat his first icecream cone. Yummy!
