Country USA - Friday - Camoflage Day

Friday was camo day and everyone was around to partake in the fun. We met some cool people who were camping behind us from Stevens Point, which we ended up hanging out with the rest of the weekend. Friday was the first day that flip cup was played, which started the evening off right. The Friday night head liner was Dierks Bentley. Here are some pictures from Friday.

Country USA - Thursday - Hawaiian Day

We decided to do a few theme nights this year and Thursday was Hawaiian night. Thursday Craig and Kim also arrived and just in time to play Edward 40 hands. Thursdays big act for the night was Carrie Underwood. Although she has become big in the last year, I did not enjoy her concert as much as I thought I would. (too many slow songs) Also, she did not come on to the stage until 11:15, which was about 45 min late.

Country USA- Wednesday

I can't believe Country USA 2007 is already here and gone. It was another fun filled 5 day weekend to relax with friends, have a few drinks, and listen to some great country music!!!

This year it was at the new Ford festival grounds south of Oshkosh, which was a little different. It was definitely a first year working out all the kinks with traffic, the amount of people vs. port o' potties, and figuring out where everything is. But it was still a blast.

I must not have gotten my camera out on Wednesday because I do not seem to have any pictures from that day/night. Wednesday is the day that everyone arrives and sets up camp. The big act for the evening was Trace Adkins, which it was as he has so many big hits.

Baileys First Trip to Appleton

Last week was Bailey's first trip to Appleton, although we would have hoped to go home for a happier occasion. She did really well for it being a 5 hour car drive. Here are some pictures from the week.

Bailey found Tanners bed in our room and thought it would be a good place to sleep. She won't fit in Tanner's bed for long.

On Friday we took some time to hang out with our friends Kevin and Rachel, which gave Bailey some good play time with their Golden Retreiver Chewy. The dogs played for like 3 hours straight.

Hair Cut

I decided that it was time for a haircut and what better time to cut hair short but summer time. So there goes 6 inches... doesn't seem like that much, but it is alot easier to manage.

Forever with the Angels

On June 5th 2006 my Grandma Millie Horn passed on to eternal life with the Lord. She was a beautiful and wonderful woman and will be dearly missed by our family, friends, and me. She has now joined my Grandpa Horn and brother Bradley in heaven with the angels. Thank you Lord for all the wonderful years you let us spend with her as I know she is now in a better place.
