Mom & dad visit..

This weekend my parents came over to drop off their old furniture for us to use in our basement until we buy a new set. Since we recently purchased our entertainment system...we thought we could use the furniture to make it feel a little more homey downstairs. When we moved into our house there was this roll of seemingly new carpet, which we had put out in the garage since we were not going to use it. However, since we still don't have carpet downstairs but now have our entertainment system & furniture, Jon decided to roll that out in the basement until our carpet gets installed.


With the rents in town we went out to dinner, played some games, did some shopping, and even went to a Timberwolves game, which Jon's parents also joined in on. Jon & I had purchased some 2 for 1 tickets, which were originally in the upper deck. However, our friend Jerad has season tickets in the lower level and had almost a whole row open behind him, so after the 1st quarter we all moved down there. Not long after we were sitting there, I looked to the next section over and realized our friends Tim & Andrea were sitting in the next section. To crazy. Along with Tim & Andrea, were Aaron, Nate, and Jen. Nate used to work with Jon at Nationwide and had become friends while both of them worked in the office. Nate left Nationwide a few years ago and since then we had lost touch with him so it was great to see him and to meet his wife Jen. What a small world to run into other friends while at the game.
