Our motorcycle - finally!!!

It has been a long time coming but we finally got our motor cycle working again! YEAH!!!

Back in 06 we had taken the motor cycle out for some summer drives and one of the cylinders was not running right, so it would chug when starting from a dead stop. We knew something was wrong with it.....however that fall we started house hunting, bought a house that winter, and then extra funds for the summer of 07 went into house projects. What bad bike owners we are. Jon did try to call a few shops around the area, but we could not find someone who worked on a Suzuki. So in the garage she sat for 2007.

Early this spring we ran into some of Jon's old high school friends who live down in Waseca and one of them works on bikes and offered to take a look at it. So down to Waseca the bike went. We checked in with him a few times over the summer, but again being bad bike owners it was not high on our priority list. Well in mid August Jon called him up again and he said he was baffled by the problem. He had taken it all apart, cleaned it up for us, put it back together, and still something was not quite right.

Instead we were able to find a bike shop down in Owatonna that works on Suzuki's. The gentleman there did something similar to Jon's friend, but was able to get everything working closer to what it should be. I guess letting it sit too long without a ride now and then is not a good thing.

But the great part is now we can take our Sunday rides again...hopefully we can find a few nice days left this fall before it gets too cold. :)
