Back in January our friends Jesse & Niki won 10 pounds of hamburger at a meat raffle. This weekend they wanted to get together at Quinn & James for a pajama party and to make & eat some of their winnings. We used about 4lbs and made both hamburger helper and tacos. Jon assisted Jesse with reducing the remaining 6lbs into nice 1-2lb packages.
We brought Bailey over to their house as J&Q's dog Lucy and Bailey like to play. Well J&N brought over their cat, Lion as well. Lion had never been around any type of dogs and for awhile was hesitant to come out of the bedroom where she felt safe. Bailey loves to play & chase cats, probably since she is used to farm cats, not house cats. So Bailey was super concerned about the cat in the
bedroom and kept trying to sneak up on the cat in the bedroom.....Lion was not too happy about that.
But, slowly throughout the night Lion became more brave and came out into the living room hiding under the chair and up on the book shelves.
