On we boarded the beautiful Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas, which is currently the largest cruise ship in the world. It was completely amazing! (although I have nothing to compare it to as this was our first cruise)
As we were leaving the port in Miami a storm came through, however we did not really mind as it came through about the same time that Jon and I had our couples massage scheduled. What a relaxing way to start our vacation. 
The first evening we hung out on the Royal Promenade prior to dinner, which was a four story mall like area that went down the center of the ship. In the evenings this is where they would have parades and pre-dinner parties. It was also a good place to sit and people watch.
